Our 40-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation RNs provide continuing, skilled care for adult patients while they recover their strength and functioning after a debilitating injury, stroke, trauma, amputation, neurological disorders, orthopedic intervention, and surgical procedures. Teamwork is the key on our floor as we interact well with our Physicians, Therapists, and Social Workers. From treatment to patient and family education, our rehabilitation specialists customize a plan of care based on each individualâ€™s diagnosis, needs, and personal goals. As you help patients achieve goals and regain independence, you can form significant relationships with them and celebrate the successes they experience along the way. You spend each day helping someone to regain control of their lives with the goal of being discharged from the hospital and back to their community, families, and friends.

Requirements:

Current RN licensures appropriate to state regulations required.
CPR certification required
CRRN certification preferred.
One or more years of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.

Position Summary:

Responsible for preventative maintenance and general service within Maintenance/Security Department. Performs pm on HVAC, system and boiler. Oversees general, routine maintenance and servicing operations throughout the hospital plant and grounds as directed by Director of Plant Operations.

Minimum Qualifications:

General maintenance/construction and/or HVAC experience preferred

Experience picking up and closing general work orders and Preventative Maintenance

Food Service Aide

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications

Summary:

Assists with preparation and service of food using proper food handling and food safety techniques for patients, employees and special events, resulting in foods that taste good, are served at the proper temperature, and in an attractive manner in accordance with established standards. Maintains a clean and safe working environment in accordance with established standards. Other duties include: Taking out the trash, Ensuring the availability of clean dishes, utensils, and glassware, delivering food to the patient floors, restock items, clean appliances and machines. sweeping and mopping floors. Document temperature readings of the dishmachine during each shift.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience as a Prep Cook or Cook preferred, but not required.

Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in detail.
Food safety certifications as required by jurisdiction. (ServSafe)
Work alongside Cooking staff to prep for daily meal service.

Desired:

Experience in healthcare foodservice desired.

Physical Therapy Assistant

The Physical Therapy Assistant treats referred patients, ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric who are experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assists in patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist. Within our facility, you may work with patients who have:

Traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries
Multi-system organ failure
Chronic/Acute respiratory failure
Ventilators and require weaning

Qualifications:

In order to work at our facility as a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will need:

Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist Assistant
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

At least 1 year of direct patient care experience
